Encompassing ecological systems of wetland, ocean, forest and hot spring, and embracing red-crowned crane national preservation area and elk national preservation area, Yancheng City, a domestic sustainable development experiment area, is on top of the list of Chinese cities in respect to air quality. Endowed with excellent ecological environment, we commit to concentrating our efforts in cultivating energy efficiency and environmental protection technologies, and to boosting growth that features green economy. In 2014, the energy efficiency and environmental protection industries of the city has seen a main business revenue of RMB 81,000,000,000, and this year, that number will exceed RMB 100,000,000,000. The output value of manufacturing industry for smoke and gas treatment equipment accounts for 3% in the same area within China; and energy efficient electric light source bulbs of the city takes a 15% share of the domestic market. The city of environmental protection technology is gradually growing into the largest base in China for haze treatment, research and development and manufacturing base. The ecological effect index for green development of the city ranks first in Jiangsu Province. As our next step, we plan to target areas of equipment manufacturing, engineering general contracting, environmental protection services, market transaction, innovation platform, education and training and international cooperation, so as to construct the whole industry chain and build the "Silicon Valley" of China for energy efficiency and environmental protection industries. We look forward to more environmental protection enterprises coming to Yancheng City, and facilitating the transformation and upgrading of our city's environmental protection enterprises from equipment manufacturers to service providers.
