Recently, the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences and China Re Catastrophe Risk Management Company Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Based on the high-throughput computing center, the first stop of Yancheng “information high-speed rail”, the cooperation will accelerate the technology application in risk management system covering the smart city.

As of now, the technology has been used in the R&D of technological projects, such as unmanned network-linked vehicles and the “urban brain” of Yancheng, and has achieved industrialization breakthroughs. It’s worth to mention that this is the first time to adopt the technology in the R&D of catastrophe modeling.
