On the morning of April 12, Ctrip International Travel Agents Conference and & “NICE Yancheng” Cultural Tourism Carnival was held in the Ocean Bay Ecotourism Site. Zhu Shanzhong, ambassador of the United Nations World Tourism Organization, and Ma Long, deputy director of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Zhou Bin welcomed the guests and briefly introduced the economic and social development of Yancheng. He said that Yancheng is located in the eastern coastal region of China, with superior geographical conditions, profound cultural deposits, rich ecological resources, distinctive industrial characteristics and good development momentum. Now it is the most beautiful time in Yancheng. We hope that all the guests will experience and understand Yancheng and feel the cultural endowment of Yancheng. The guests are also encouraged to actively participate in the development of Yancheng cultural tourism, carry out deeper exchanges and cooperation, jointly add new vitality to Yancheng's cultural tourism market, inject new driving force into cultural tourism consumption, and strive to create a new growth point for high-quality development of Yancheng.

Mayor Zhang Mingkang said in his speech that Yancheng, nourished and bred by the vast Yellow Sea, after more than 2100 years of cultural accumulation, has a profound and long cultural history, a blue sky and green ecological environment, and a vigorous development momentum. We will explore deep into the cultural tourism resource, vigorously develop the whole region tourism, connect the scenic spots in the city, and create a new life of “walking into Yancheng is tourism” for everyone. We will enrich the supply of cultural tourism products, promote the development of “tourism+” multi-formats, and make the city more outstanding. We will improve public supporting services, vigorously implement the environment and service improvement projects, enrich the eating, living, traveling, shopping and entertainment experience, so that the citizens feels happy to live here and attract more faraway tourists. We hope that all the guests visit Yancheng more, to have a  better perception and understanding of Yancheng so that we will embrace a brighter future together with Ctrip.

During the conference, Yancheng publicity video “NICE Yancheng” were broadcast. The municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Film and Tourism, Yanwu Group respectively made promotion and recommendation. New Trends in International Tourism Scenes by Charm of Jiangsu and Travel Guide of Yangtze River Delta were released. Agreement on “Developing with Yanwu Group Together”, city publicity and exchange on city tourism were signed. 5 overseas travel agents were authorized. Agreements of 36 cultural and tourism industry projects were signed together.
