Recently, with the smooth berthing of the vessel Gro Twilight, the direct Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) shipping route from Yancheng to Ulsan, South Korea, officially set sail. This establishes a new maritime expressway connecting to East Asia s industrial hub, further enriching the global shipping network of reaching the world. It marks a solid step forward for Yancheng s Binhai Port in building a diversified international shipping route network and developing into a key hub for automobile exports in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta.

Under the guidance of a pilot boat, the 199-meter-long Ro-Ro vessel Gro Twilight slowly berthed at No. 1 berth of the North General Wharf in Yancheng s Binhai Port. Officers from the Yancheng Border Inspection Station moved efficiently among the vehicle yards, meticulously verifying and inspecting the vehicles scheduled for loading to ensure the accuracy of all export automobile information.

Subsequently, under the skilled operations of the staff, brand-new Made in Yancheng vehicles drove into the ship s hold in an orderly manner. It is understood that on this voyage, the Gro Twilight loaded 2,532 Made in Yancheng vehicles, with a total export value exceeding US$22.71 million. The opening of this new route not only enriches the international shipping network of Binhai Port but also provides a more efficient and convenient overseas access channel for the automobile industry in Yancheng and surrounding areas.
