On March 21, Zhou Bin, Secretary of the CPC Yancheng Municipal Committee, visited Huanghai New Area to communicate the guiding principles of the national “Two Sessions”, conduct research on major project construction, and inspect work safety. He emphasized the need to thoroughly study and implement the important instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping during his participation in the Jiangsu delegation’s deliberation, as well as the guiding principles of the national “Two Sessions”. He called for leveraging the region’s comprehensive advantages in port access, space, and energy to accelerate the green transformation of industries, activate the marine economy, and develop new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions, thereby better empowering high-quality development.

During exchanges with representatives from ongoing projects, operating enterprises, and relevant departmental heads, Zhou noted that during this year’s national “Two Sessions”, General Secretary Xi Jinping, while participating in the Jiangsu delegation’s deliberation, once again stressed the importance of developing new quality productive forces, outlining new guidance through the “Four New” directives. Major projects serve as crucial vehicles and effective drivers for accelerating the growth of new quality productive forces. All localities must stay focused on the key themes of “marine” “green” and “new” strategically planning a number of major projects that strengthen foundations, enhance momentum, and deliver long-term benefits, in order to accelerate the formation of a modern industrial system with distinctive features and complementary advantages. Leaders at all levels should strengthen their liaison and service responsibilities, reinforce guarantees across the entire project cycle, and create a more enabling environment for project construction, ensuring greater tangible outcomes and providing solid support for development through enhanced project quality and efficiency.

Recently, Zhou also visited Jiangsu ICT Developer’s annual 300,000-ton green methanol project at Dafeng Port Economic Development Zone. He urged relevant departments to enhance enterprise services, promptly address issues arising during project implementation, and foster a top-tier business environment to support corporate growth.
