On March 30, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the 2025 Typical Application Practices of 5G Factories, selecting 100 technologically advanced and benchmark-leading projects from the “Hundreds, Thousands, Tens of Thousands” initiative for 5G factories launched in 2022. A total of 25 cases from Jiangsu Province were included.

Three enterprise cases from Yancheng were successfully listed: “Yancheng MFLEX Flexible Printed Circuit Intelligent Manufacturing 5G Factory”, “Dongtai JA Solar Technology Co., Ltd. 5G Factory”, and “Wind Power Blade 5G Factory (Jiangsu Sunrui Wind Power Blade Co., Ltd.)”. These three companies have formed replicable and scalable application models in areas such as production control, quality inspection, equipment operation and maintenance, and intelligent logistics, providing Yancheng’s experience for the digital and intelligent upgrading of the industry.

In recent years, Yancheng has deeply implemented actions for intelligent and digital transformation, and networked connectivity in the manufacturing sector. The city has issued the Yancheng Three-Year Action Plan for Deepening Intelligent and Digital Transformation, and Networked Connectivity in Manufacturing (2025–2027), established a gradient cultivation system for smart factories, strengthened policy support and resource guarantees, and continuously promoted the transformation of traditional manufacturing toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.
