On the morning of December 9th, the Patrol Special Police Training Base of Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department was inaugurated and established in Yancheng. Liu Yang, Vice Governor, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Politics and Law Committee, and Director of the Provincial Public Security Department, and Zhou Bin, Deputy Secretary of Yancheng Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, attended the event and unveiled the base. Shang Jianrong, Deputy Secretary and Executive Deputy Director of the Provincial Public Security Department presided over the ceremony.

In order to give full play to the demonstration and incubation role of the patrol special police training base, the Provincial Public Security Department decided to name it the Patrol Special Police Training Base of Jiangsu Provincial Public Security Department. It is the second provincial training base equipped with a service command center, a comprehensive training center, an underground long gun shooting range, a standard runway sports field, a tactical shooting training room, an indoor simulation block, a comprehensive skills training field, a police dog room and other functional facilities. The local government will vigorously promote the regular and long-term development of the actual combat training of special patrol police, comprehensively improve the actual combat skills and professional qualities of special patrol police, and better fulfill their duties and missions in the new era.
