It has become the first batch of new energy demonstration cities in the country, the national pilot project for the regional agglomeration of offshore wind power industry, and the first “10 million kilowatt new energy power generation city” in the Yangtze River Delta region. Yancheng has been called the “No.1 city of offshore wind power”.

Yancheng’s 14th Five-Year plan on new energy industry development proposes that by 2025, the new energy industry will move towards two targets, namely the industrial scale will reach 200 billion yuan, and the installed capacity will reach 20 million kilowatts.
