Recently, the minor Huai Opera “Stingy Aunt Chasing the Pig”, submitted by the Sheyang County Huai Opera Troupe, was successfully selected for the 14th National Minor Theatrical Performances and Opera Exhibition “Ode to China”. The work will be performed in Beijing from October 16 to 20, showcasing Sheyang’s artistic flair to a national audience.

“Stingy Aunt Chasing the Pig” has previously won the 15th “Five-Star Project Award” for Jiangsu Province’s government-sponsored public art, first prize in Yancheng’s Minor Theatrical Performances Exhibition, as well as the “Outstanding Performance Award” and “Outstanding Play Award” at the 5th Jiangsu Province Drama and Opera Minor Theatrical Performances Exhibition.
