On the morning of March 21, the groundbreaking ceremony of Zhongsheng Binhai new energy 580MWp PV power generation project was held. In recent years, Binhai County has given full play to the advantages of the national first-class port, wind and solar resources, and vast hinterland, and gathered its strength to build the largest comprehensive energy supply base in China. Solid steps have been taken to the road of green transformation.

Zhongsheng Binhai new energy PV power generation project was invested by Shanghai Zhongsheng Group with a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan and the installed capacity of 580 MW. When the project is fully put into operation, the annual average green electricity will reach 660 million KWH, the invoiced revenue 300 million yuan, the tax 50 million yuan, the energy consumption index will be reduced by 230,000 tons of standard coal, and the carbon dioxide emission will be reduced by 550,000 tons.

The project not only helps the local fishery increase efficiency, villagers increase income, and promote the construction of beautiful villages, but also provides rich green electricity for the port economic industry of Binhai County, transforming the ecological advantages of green energy into local development dividends.
