With a cool autumn breeze and the aroma of melons and fruits filling the air, it is the perfect season to celebrate the harvest. On September 23, the Yancheng (Yandu) main event for the 2025 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival was held at the Yandu Modern Agricultural Industrial Demonstration Park. Farmers, new-era agriculturists, workers in the fields of agriculture, rural areas, and farmers, as well as representatives from various sectors, gathered together to share the joy of the golden autumn harvest and discuss a brighter future for “agriculture, rural areas, and farmers”.

This year marks the eighth Chinese Farmers’Harvest Festival. The theme of Yancheng’s celebration is “Harvest in the Watery Landscape, Joyful Songs Across the Fertile Fields”. Through distinctive and meaningful harvest celebration activities, the event aims to showcase the achievements in agricultural and rural development, boost urban-rural consumption, promote farming culture, enhance agricultural efficiency, increase rural vitality, raise farmers’ incomes, and advance comprehensive rural revitalization.
