At 8:00 a.m. on April 26, under the supervision of Yancheng Customs (a branch of Nanjing Customs), a fully loaded cargo aircraft took off from Yancheng Nanyang International Airport, heading directly to Kansai International Airport in Osaka, Japan. This marks the successful resumption of the “Yancheng–Osaka” international all-cargo air route — a move set to inject strong momentum into the region’s export-oriented economy.

The route is scheduled to operate five flights per week, with a flight time of just 2.5 hours. It offers a fast, door-to-door logistics solution for goods such as precision instruments, fresh produce, and high-value industrial products. Following the resumption, the route is expected to generate over 1,000 tons of additional cross-border air cargo annually for Yancheng and neighboring cities.
