On June 28, the LNG carrier Makama, arriving from Nigeria, successfully completed its unloading operation at the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) Yancheng “Green Energy Port” terminal. With this operation, the total offloading volume at the port has now surpassed 7 million tons.

As the summer peak electricity demand sets in, ensuring energy supply security has become a top priority. To support this, the Yancheng Border Inspection Station has opened a “green channel” for vessels transporting bulk energy products. It provides tailor-made customs clearance plans under a “one vessel, one policy” approach, helping enterprises speed up the unloading process. Thanks to these measures, CNOOC’s Yancheng “Green Energy Port” is now even better equipped to meet the surging energy demands of the summer heat.
