Over the past three years, Yancheng has seen both the quantity and quality of its internet platforms rise, with the online-channel coverage rate of above-designated-size manufacturing enterprises steadily expanding. Local advantaged manufacturing sectors—such as automotive equipment, textiles, and green food—have accelerated the opening of online production-to-sales chains, and digital-physical integration has continued to deepen, charting a path of manufacturing digital transformation with Yancheng characteristics.

“The tide rises across a vast sea and sky; the time has come to set sail.” During the demonstration zone’s creation period, the city’s industrial scale broke through the one-trillion-yuan mark, with all “5+2” strategic emerging industries exceeding 100 billion yuan in scale. The number of provincial-level industrial internet platforms increased to five, and global “Lighthouse Factories” reached two. Yueda Kia’s cumulative export of complete vehicles surpassed 680,000 units. These fruitful results of the three-year “intelligent transformation, digital upgrading, network linkage” action serve as a vivid footnote to the deep integration of digital and physical economies.
