On March 3, a series of Lantern Festival activities was held in Yanzhen Water Street. Rooted in fine traditional Chinese culture and colored by local Yanfu culture, the event integrated lantern exhibitions, folk custom markets, live performances and interactive experiences. Six themed lantern installations brightly lit up four distinctive markets, with more than ten local themed shows staged one after another.

According to statistics, the event attracted a total of 153,000 visitors and boosted cultural tourism consumption by 12.6 million yuan. It injected strong momentum into Yancheng’s spring festival cultural tourism market, and presented citizens and tourists with a Lantern Festival folk feast featuring both cultural heritage and vibrant local life.
