On May 20, Yancheng held a high-level exchange meeting on the integrated innovative development of “AI + Green Energy”. Qi Congfeng, Vice Mayor of Yancheng, attended and delivered a speech.

Qi Congfeng stated that as one of the first batch of national and the first carbon peak pilot city in Jiangsu, Yancheng boasts unique resource advantages, solid industrial foundation and pioneering innovation practices in the integration and innovation of AI and green energy. The city is accelerating the development of a green computing hub to promote efficient collaboration between artificial intelligence and green energy. He expressed hope that experts, scholars and industry elites will offer advice for Yancheng to build a new pattern of “AI + energy” development, and welcomed entrepreneurs to invest in and settle in Yancheng, jointly building a highland, innovation source and application demonstration base for the green energy industry.

At the meeting, renowned academicians, experts, university professors and enterprise representatives discussed practical paths for AI-enabled green and low-carbon energy transition. The Yancheng Science and Technology Investment Environment White Paper was released; the “Innovation Core” Large-Scale Instrument Sharing Platform was launched; the Yancheng Technology Managers College and the New Energy Special Committee of Jiangsu Energy Research Association were inaugurated; and the China–ROK Torch Innovation Partnership signing ceremony was held.
